The eTwinning project "Global Voyages: Exploring Famous Cities" engaged students aged 10 to 15 from North Macedonia, Romania, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland in exploring famous cities through interdisciplinary activities involving ICT, English, geography, art, and technology.
Key Activities:
- February: Create project logos, school videos, and city presentations; participate in eSafety activities.
- March: Take quizzes and create jigsaw puzzles of landmarks; share reflections on cities via an online platform.
- April: Create and exchange tourist guide brochures; brainstorm project-related vocabulary.
- May: Celebrate eTwinning Day with video messages; draw and describe local places; create an online exhibition and multilingual dictionary.
The project promotes geographic knowledge, cultural exchange, and ICT skills. Overall, "Global Voyage: Explore Famous Cities" aims to broaden students' horizons, foster international friendships, and enhance their appreciation for the diverse world we live in.
